Our Work

Our work responds to interconnected challenges affecting health, safety, rights, opportunity and participation.

The Four Core Pillars

HEALTH

Improving health equity, access to services and stronger health systems. Our work includes maternal and adolescent health, sexual and reproductive health and rights, HIV, community health and culturally appropriate approaches to care.

GENDER JUSTICE

Preventing violence and exploitation and challenging harmful gender norms. This includes VAWG, teenage pregnancy, child sexual exploitation, safeguarding, healthy relationships, positive masculinity, reporting and access to support.

RIGHTS & OPPORTUNITY

Advancing economic, human and civic rights, livelihoods, leadership and access to justice, while strengthening people's ability to participate in decisions that affect their lives.

CLIMATE JUSTICE

Addressing the unequal impacts of climate change while strengthening community resilience, livelihoods, health and environmental sustainability. Our climate justice work recognises that climate change is also a health, economic and rights issue. We support locally led responses that help communities adapt, strengthen sustainable livelihoods, protect their environment and participate in decisions that affect natural resources and their future.
